Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or engaging Don Construction for painting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Don Construction provides professional painting services including interior painting, exterior painting, commercial painting, cabinet refinishing, color consultation, and surface preparation. Specific services for your project will be outlined in a written estimate or contract.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days. Prices are based on the scope of work described at the time of estimation. Additional charges may apply for:

• Additional work requested during the project
• Unforeseen conditions discovered after work begins
• Changes to project scope or specifications
• Work beyond normal business hours

4. Payment Terms

A deposit of 25-50% is required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge.

5. Warranty

We stand behind our work with a 2-year warranty on labor for interior painting and 3-year warranty for exterior painting. This warranty covers peeling, blistering, and premature fading under normal conditions. Paint manufacturer warranties apply separately.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing access to work areas during scheduled times
• Removing or protecting valuable items and personal property
• Ensuring utilities (water, electricity) are available
• Communicating any known issues or concerns

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before scheduled start date will receive a full refund of any deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the project estimate.

8. Limitation of Liability

Don Construction's liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by third parties, or circumstances beyond our control. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage for your protection.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with local laws.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
